Who We Are

GreenFlow Heating & Cooling is owned by Christina Joslin. Nathan Joslin serves as Technical Manager and Lead Installer, running every install and complex service job in the field. We are a small, hands-on team by design: the person quoting your system is the person who will install it, and the person who answers the phone knows what happened on your last visit.

We are licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington State (L&I contractor number GREENHC754B2). Our legal entity is GreenFlow Climate Solutions LLC, doing business as GreenFlow Heating & Cooling.

Why We Started GreenFlow

After years in the trade, we kept seeing the same pattern: homeowners handed oversized systems, vague quotes, and installs that cut corners on the parts nobody sees. Ductwork that leaks. Refrigerant lines that were never pressure-tested. Heat pumps set up for the wrong climate. Rebate money left on the table because nobody filled out the paperwork.

GreenFlow exists to do the job the way we would want it done in our own home: right-sized equipment, honest quotes with line-item pricing, real Manual J load calculations, and installations that will still be running quietly in fifteen years.

What Makes Us Different

  • Owner-operator on every job. Nathan runs the field work. You will not get bounced to a new tech each visit.
  • Load calculations before we quote. We size systems using Manual J, not a rule of thumb based on square footage.
  • Cold-climate heat pump specialists. We install and commission systems rated for the Pacific Northwest, not systems designed for Phoenix.
  • PSE and Tacoma Public Utilities rebate paperwork included. We file the utility rebates for you. Most competitors leave that to the customer.
  • Written scope, written price. No surprise line items on the invoice.
  • Lifetime workmanship warranty plus 2 year labor. Every install we perform is backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty on the install itself, plus 2 full years of labor coverage on top. If something we did with our own hands fails, we come back and fix it.
  • Local, not franchised. Christina and Nathan live and work in the same communities we serve.

Our Warranty: Lifetime Workmanship Plus 2 Year Labor

Every HVAC system we install is backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty on the installation itself, plus 2 full years of labor coverage on the work we did.

Lifetime workmanship means for as long as you own the equipment we installed, if any part of our installation fails because of how we installed it (leaks on brazed joints, flare fittings, refrigerant line sets, condensate lines, electrical connections, duct connections, mounting hardware) we stand behind our work.

2 year labor coverage means for the first 2 years after your install, if a covered issue comes up you pay nothing out of pocket for the labor to correct it.

This is separate from the manufacturer parts warranty, which typically runs 10 years on major components when the equipment is registered (we handle that registration for you). The manufacturer covers the parts. We cover our workmanship and labor.

We can offer this because we install once, correctly, using Manual J load calculations, real commissioning procedures, and industry-best practices. When your install is done right the first time, standing behind it is easy.

The Way We Work

Free in-home consultation. For system replacements, we visit your home, measure, look at your ductwork, and run the load calculation before quoting. You get a written proposal with the actual equipment models, warranty terms, and total price.

Diagnostic-first repair. For repair calls, we diagnose the actual failure and quote the fix before we start work. If we recommend replacement over repair, we tell you why with numbers, not scare tactics.

Commissioned installations. Every install we perform gets refrigerant charge verification, static pressure measurement, airflow verification, and a startup report. That is what the manufacturer requires for warranty. It is not optional.

Rebates filed for you. If your project qualifies for a PSE or Tacoma Public Utilities rebate, or the federal 25C tax credit, we handle the paperwork and give you the documentation you need for your tax return.
