What does a diagnostic cost? We charge a flat diagnostic fee that’s disclosed when you book, and we apply it toward the repair if you move forward. No surprises added at the end.

Should I repair or replace? Rule of thumb: if the equipment is under 10 years old, repair it. Over 15 years with a repair quote above a third of replacement cost, replace it. In between, we give you both numbers and the honest efficiency difference, then you choose.

My heat pump is covered in ice is that an emergency? Light frost is normal; a solid block of ice is not. Switch to emergency heat and call us. Running it iced up can damage the compressor.

Can I get a refrigerant top off? Refrigerant doesn’t get used up if it’s low, there’s a leak. We find and fix the leak, then recharge by weight. Repeated top offs are how systems die early.
